Business Continuity at OW Robotics – Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Updated: 10/11/2020

OW Robotics continues to actively follow the latest guidance set out by UK Government and Public Health England regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In addition to the existing company’s disaster contingency policy, OW Robotics has implemented a separate continuity plan to maintain business as usual during this difficult time.

The following procedure sets out the continuity measures that OW Robotics has brought into effect. The procedure aims to ensure that OW Robotics will be able to operate to the best of its abilities in the current climate while protecting, as far as is reasonably possible, our employees and clients.

  • We have tested the resilience in working from home and our employees are working remotely in accordance with current government guidelines. This does not affect our business operating hours and we do not anticipate any impact on the quality of our services.
  • Continuing compliance with the social distancing measures set out by UK Government, we have listed a range of measures we have taken to protect our employees and customers below. In addition, and where appropriate, visits to and from clients will be converted to video calls.
  • We have created a bespoke training course for our employees to ensure that they understand the current Government guidelines and have the necessary knowledge to work safely at all times, whether working from home, in the office or on site with customers. This training is mandatory for all of our employees.

Protecting our employees and customers

We have updated our company policies and procedures as a result of the latest Government announcement and included a quick summary of our approach below.

If you are visiting our premises

Our commitment to you:

  • All OW Robotics employees who you interact with on your visit to OW Robotics are required to wear face masks or shields.
  • While currently not mandatory, we actively encourage all employees (beyond those who you will meet at our premises) to wear a face mask in our offices.
  • We will ensure that everyone maintains a two-metre social distance while working with you at our premises. All of our employees are required to maintain this social distance while on our premises.
  • All OW Robotics employees are required to hand sanitise every two hours and every time they enter our buildings. Hand sanitiser stations are available at each entry point to make this as easy as possible.
  • We are reducing the spread of Covid-19 by maintaining a reduced number of staff in our offices – by making effective use of our technology, those who are able to work from home are encouraged and able to do so.
  • We encourage all of our employees to use the NHS Covid-19 app to support the NHS Track and Trace process.
